Research, design, and create a set of custom painted sneakers.

What was I thinking?

This is one of the longest running projects that I have ever done, due to procrastination. I took my sweet time researching the method of painting on shoes, and for good reason. The methods that I learned such as how to prep them, which paints to use, and how to paint them helped these shoes have longevity. As you are viewing them in these photos, they have been worn around 20-25 times out in public, hence the small amounts of dirt you can see with some closer inspection, but there is no cracked paint!

In the end..

I like what came of the project. These shoes are a constant reminder for me to stay young and fun. I will definitely be wearing these to the premier of Ice Age: Continental Drift, thats for sure..
